ABOUT AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL
Amnesty International (AI) is a non-governmental organization based in London. The NGO was created in 1961 by Peter Benenson.
Amnesty is a global movement composed of over 7 million members and supporters from all around the world. AI campaigns for is to campaign for "a world in which every person enjoys all of the human rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international human rights instruments."
AI lobby’s governments and companies to make sure that they respect international law. Amnesty Investigate and exposes facts wherever and whenever infringements on Human Rights occur and raises awareness on issues from around the globe by campaigning for change and to stand in defense of activists on the frontline.
ABOUT THE BOARD
The Board of STAI is composed of five students from Tilburg University, united in the need of challenging stereotypes and in the fight for human rights.

What we do
STAI is a student group whose purpose is to incite difficult conversations about taboo topics. It serves as a platform to bring together individuals from different parts of the world. While we can't change the world, we can raise awareness to important issues and advocate for the respect of human rights.
